  1. What data do I collect

I collect the following personal data: Name and contact details (email, telephone), date of birth, address, date, time and fees of sessions. The data are kept in your file, on my appointment booking system and invoicing system. A small part of the data is also used for my financial administration. 

Regarding clinical data, I keep the following data in your file: Therapeutic goals, summaries of sessions, formulations for the issues and difficulties you present, suggestions and interventions.

Finally, technical data (IP address, browser type and cookies) are collected for the operation and optimization of the use of the company’s website. For more information about cookies, see the cookie policy.

As a therapist, I process sensitive personal data, which may reveal racial or ethnic background, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health and those concerning the sexual life or sexual orientation. This data is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as transposed to the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. Confidentiality

The above data as well as everything discussed in our sessions remain strictly confidential. Exceptions only apply when there is a safety risk to you or others or in the event of a court order. Where possible, I will try to inform you in advance of the transfer of confidential data to third parties.

  1. Online sessions

Sessions are held via a secure video call platform (Zoom). All reasonable measures are taken to protect confidentiality. Recording or videotaping of sessions is only permitted with the written consent of all participants in the session.

  1. Purpose of processing

Your data is used for the following purposes: providing online therapy sessions, respond to communication requests, manage appointments and payments, maintain a client list and invoicing.

Your data is stored securely and retained only for as long as is necessary to provide therapy services in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as transposed to the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

You have the right to access you data, be informed about how it is used, have them updated if incorrect, have them erased, stop or restrict their processing as well as object to how the data are processed in certain circumstances. Finally you have the right of data portability i.e. reuse your data for different services.
